TCDD funds grant projects to address needs across Texas in areas including competitive employment, education, health and fitness, positive behavioral interventions and supports, inclusive faith-based communities, local advocacy networks, leadership training, strengthening communities, and cultural competence and sensitivity. The Council intends that funded projects will be sustainable after they no longer receive funding, so completed projects may still be active without financial support from TCDD.
