Council Meetings

TCDD holds Council meetings on a quarterly basis. Meetings are open to the public and are announced both on this webpage and in the Texas Register. During these meetings, Council members engage in discussions and make decisions related to TCDD’s policies, projects, and funding activities. Council members also review ongoing TCDD initiatives, address governance matters, receive public comment, and engage with presenters and guest speakers on current disability issues.

Our 27-member Council includes people with developmental disabilities (DD), family members of people with DD, and agency representatives. Visit our Council Membership page to learn more. Public Comment

You will have an opportunity to provide public comment at the beginning of each meeting. If you can’t attend a meeting and want to provide public comment, then please complete a public comment form by 5 p.m. CT on the day before the meeting. Your comment will be read to Council members during the meeting.
