About Alexandra
As regional coordinator, Alexandra Venegas collaborates with new and existing Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) projects to create curriculum-based resources for people with disabilities and their families and professionals. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Texas A&M University. Before joining TCDD, Alexandra was a 5th-grade Reading Teacher for Houston Independent School District (HISD). Alexandra taught in many different teaching positions for HISD for four years.
