Hatching Hope Foundation – Outreach & Development

Project Goal
Provide autism support, advocacy in schools, parent training and education, and other disability-related resources for communities of people of color in North Texas

Project Summary
The Hatching Hope Foundation provided educational resources to support children with autism, their families, and their caregivers in planning and coordinating services. In doing so, the project sought to reduce the length of time children diagnosed with autism must wait before they are able to receive services. Project leaders also advocated for families with children who have autism and raised awareness about autism in North Texas communities.
