About Richard
As Regional Coordinator for North Texas, Richard Williams collaborates with local organizations, participates in community events, and connects with people with disabilities and their families. Richard also raises awareness about the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) and shares opportunities for people to get involved in TCDD projects. He joined TCDD after working for the City of Dallas as both a peer counselor with the Women, Infant, and Children Program, and as a case manager and outreach coordinator in the Homeless Solutions Department. Williams graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is based in the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) campus in Dallas.
