The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) is pleased to announce the selection of Stacey Ingram Kaleh as director of communications and reporting. In her role, Kaleh coordinates external communications for TCDD, including public advocacy campaigns and outreach activities for the Council’s initiatives.
Before joining TCDD, Kaleh was the senior manager of marketing and communications for I Live Here I Give Here, a nonprofit organization in Central Texas focused on increasing generosity through community engagement. Kaleh’s additional professional experience includes serving as chief communications officer at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) School of Architecture and as public relations and marketing manager for the Blanton Museum of Art at UT Austin. Kaleh also worked at Sherry Matthews Advocacy Marketing, where she organized statewide outreach efforts for clients such as Don’t Mess With Texas, Texas WIC, and Baylor Scott and White Health.
“I firmly believe that all people should be fully included in their communities,” Kaleh said. “I am deeply honored to join the passionate and dedicated team at TCDD to help advance systems change that results in more equitable, inclusive, and accessible communities across my home state and beyond.”
Kaleh holds a master’s degree in museum studies from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from UT Austin. A native Texan, Kaleh is passionate about serving her community by advancing equity, inclusion, and accessibility. She serves on the Austin PBS Community Advisory Board and the Community Engagement Committee for Preservation Austin.
Outside of the office, Kaleh spends time with her daughter, Summer, and her husband, Brian, enjoying outdoor activities in the Hill Country as well as art and live music. She joined TCDD on Jan. 19, 2021.
Kaleh Left TCDD on Nov 12, 2021 for another opportunity and we wish her the best.
