Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, in partnership with the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities and Disability Rights Texas, will host a four-part webinar series beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021. The series is titled, “Promoting a Positive Experience with Special Education in Rural Communities and Small Districts.”
When it comes to providing special education services, schools in rural communities face challenges. Rural schools can be geographically isolated and have budget constraints, modest resources, and a limited number of teachers and paraeducators. The webinar series will discuss these challenges, answer questions, and provide information and resources. There is no cost to attend. Registration is required and limited.
