Gerken previously worked on disability policy through positions at The Arc of Texas, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and Easterseals Central Texas. She joined TCDD on July 1, 2020.
Kaleh coordinates external communications for TCDD, including public advocacy campaigns and outreach activities for the Council’s initiatives. She joined TCDD on Jan. 19, 2021.

The four-part webinar series is titled, “Promoting a Positive Experience with Special Education in Rural Communities and Small Districts.” It begins Jan. 26, 2021.

Texas HHSC is conducting a needs assessment survey to gather input about aging services for older Texans. The deadline to complete the survey is Aug. 26.

These grants will increase choice-making skills among youth with DD from birth to 14 and support self-determined health care for people with DD. The deadline to apply for both is Friday, Aug. 23.
