The Arc of Texas — Inclusion Works! Conference

Project Goal
Provide learning experiences that increase participants’ understanding of the skills and resources needed to enable students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other diverse learners to be fully included in the classroom. Provide educators and staff with the resources to make sure that students are involved in, and making progress in, the general curriculum, while improving their skills in planning and collaboration.

Project Summary
This grant aimed to build on the existing expertise and statewide reputation of The Arc of Texas’ Inclusion Works! conference. It also planned to add local and regional training activities to help reach parents and families who were unable to attend the conference.
