Santa Rosa Health Care — Texas Respite Resource Network

Project Goal
Work on policy reform, legislative changes, and statewide networking in order to develop a statewide respite system.

Project Summary
The Texas Respite Resource Network (TRRN) was instrumental in developing statewide and national awareness regarding respite issues. TRRN worked on policy reform, legislative changes, and statewide networking in order to develop a statewide respite system. TRRN collaborated with Healthcare Matters! on training and outreach for managed care in Texas, supporting the Respite Task Force, and conducting other training. TRRN convened six conferences on respite and family support and developed a guide to respite services in Texas.
