Project Summary
The Texas Disability Policy Consortium was an organization of 24 statewide disability advocacy groups. The consortium’s mission was to identify, formulate positions on, and educate the public and policymakers regarding public policy issues of concern to persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Member organizations had the opportunity to jointly endorse and publicly support such positions. This project, which was housed at Advocacy, Inc., was meant to provide administrative and professional staff support to assist the consortium.
