Early voting began in Texas on Monday, Oct. 21. Now is a great time to find your polling location and make your voting plan. Why wait? Vote today!
Find Your Polling Location
A polling location is where you can cast your ballot. You must vote in the county where you registered to vote.
Go to the My Voter Portal website to find a polling location in your county. Enter your information under the “Am I Registered” section. You’ll be taken to a page that shows your voter registration status.
On the right side of that page, click “11/05/2024–2024 NOVEMBER 5TH GENERAL ELECTION.” This will show you a list of the polling places in your county. Scroll to the bottom half of the list to find early-voting polling locations.
Plan Transportation
If you want to vote in person but need a ride to the polls, plan your transportation ahead of time. Disability Rights Texas (DRTx) has gathered information about different transportation options across Texas. The Find a Ride Guide includes information on transportation providers, phone numbers, websites, fares, accessibility options, and more. The guide is a spreadsheet. To access it, you must download the file and open it in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
If you need help accessing the Find a Ride Guide, you can fill out this form. You can also get help finding a ride by calling the DRTx Voting Rights Hotline at 1-888-796-VOTE (8683) or by emailing vote@DRTX.org.
