TCDD issued an RFP to fund up to three Outreach & Development projects that will focus on improving access to culturally competent supports and services for people with disabilities.
At the national conference, two presentations covered TCDD-funded initiatives focused on reading skills and literary inclusion for people with DD.

In her role, TenBrink will lead all of TCDD’s leadership and advocacy efforts, including managing the Texas Partners in Policymaking program. TenBrink will also support TCDD’s coalition building and community engagement initiatives.
Through these grants, organizations will create new opportunities for inclusion, training, and cultural understanding for people with developmental disabilities in their communities.
TCDD is seeking review panel members to evaluate grant proposals. Members of the review panel evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of proposals and develop group recommendations to the Council about funding.
