Project Goal
Conduct advocacy training classes in the Texas Coastal Bend area.

Project Summary
The project was developed to provide advocacy training classes in the Texas Coastal Bend area. The project intended to build on outcomes from other Accessible Communities, Inc. (ACI) projects, including community leadership development training, as well as coordination with existing local advocacy organizations. ACI planned to develop a regional advocacy coalition in the Coastal Bend region that could participate in training activities, identify and support public policy advocacy issues, and maintain communication among advocates at the local, regional, state and national levels.
