Family to Family Network — Leadership Development and Advocacy Skills Training

Project Summary
The project developed training to improve skills in self-advocacy, public policy advocacy, and leadership for people with developmental disabilities, their families, and community members. The project offered training sessions on history and philosophy, inclusive education, employment and independence, alternatives to guardianship, and person-centered thinking. Training sessions focused on improving self-determination and self-advocacy skills.
