In her role, Gonzalez monitors disability issues in Texas and advances TCDD’s public policy priorities. She joined TCDD on July 1, 2020.
Gerken previously worked on disability policy through positions at The Arc of Texas, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and Easterseals Central Texas. She joined TCDD on July 1, 2020.
Kaleh coordinates external communications for TCDD, including public advocacy campaigns and outreach activities for the Council’s initiatives. She joined TCDD on Jan. 19, 2021.

During its quarterly meetings from Feb. 9-12, 2021, the Council awarded continuation funding to TCDD projects creating positive change across Texas communities.
The state plan outlines TCDD activities and policy work over the next five years. Council members reviewed and approved the plan following a public comment period and a statewide outreach campaign.
