  • Representative Raney Announces Advocacy Training Grant


    Representative John Raney (R-Bryan) announced that the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities awarded $75,000 for the first year of a project by Texas A&M University. This three-year project will establish a leadership and advocacy program for youth who have disabilities or are at risk for dropping out of high school, as well as parents in Brazos County.

    Senator Judith Zaffirini, D-Laredo, announced today (Feb. 16) that Texas A&M University will receive $225,000 for the first year of a five-year grant from the Texas Council on Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) to develop an inclusive postsecondary education program for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
