Provide training to support people with developmental disabilities (DD) in building the vocational and social skills necessary to reach their desired level of independence and find meaningful employment
Project Summary
My Day, My Way projects develop innovative methods to support people with DD to participate in community life according to their preferences. Projects help people with DD find and keep the meaningful work they want and have self-directed purposeful options for community engagement when not at work.
The nonPareil Institute will provide training and education to help adults who have autism develop workplace skills and confidence to achieve their personal and professional goals. The project will focus on technology-related skills and will include training in software development, digital design, and technical problem-solving.
