Dominique Cares — Outreach and Development Project

Project Goal
Expand the services currently provided by Dominique Cares to reach more individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.

Project Summary
Dominique Cares will focus on community access and outreach by providing education and financial assistance to people with IDD and their families, specifically in minority communities. The project will provide families with a safe place to discuss their feelings, share strategies, and learn about services and resources. Dominique Cares will leverage partnerships with local and state support and service organizations to provide educational classes, workshops, and resource fairs, as well as opportunities to improve advocacy skills.
