About the Summit

Our Grants Management team provides grantees with technical assistance to maintain compliance so grantees can focus on their goals to improve the lives of Texans with developmental disabilities. Knowing the many complexities of managing a federally funded grant, we’re excited to offer the annual Grantee Summit to help grantees manage their projects and engage with peers from across Texas. During this virtual event, grantees meet with TCDD staff, expert speakers, and each other to connect, collaborate, and advance their grant management skills.

For more grant management resources and training, visit our Grantee Resource Center, where you can download the TCDD Grants Manual as well as budget and program forms, find links to submit quarterly reports and surveys; view how-to videos on various grant-related topics; and more.

The 2025 Grantee Summit focused on how to define, measure, and share the impact of your work to improve the lives of Texans with developmental disabilities. The event featured new resources, federal compliance updates, and opportunities for you to network with fellow TCDD grantees. Our guest speaker, Damon Centola, shared expert insights into the most effective approaches to social and behavior change, both topics covered in his book “Change: How to Make Big Things Happen.”
