Texas Partners in Policymaking (Partners) is the premier leadership program for disability advocates in Texas. Organized by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD), the Partners program teaches people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their family members leadership and advocacy skills to become effective advocates for policy change. Graduates of the TCDD Partners program often go on to serve on boards, councils, task forces, and advisory committees; some run for elected office.

Over six weekend sessions, Partners equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to influence policy and drive progress that shapes a better future for Texans with disabilities.
