Provide Input to HHSC on Aging Services for Older Texans

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is conducting a needs assessment survey to gather input from older adults, caregivers, service providers, and others interested in aging services in Texas. Your feedback is essential in helping create a state plan on aging that addresses the needs and priorities of older Texans.

Your responses will:

  • Identify the most pressing needs and challenges faced by older adults in Texas.
  • Guide how our state uses resources and funding for aging services.
  • Help improve and develop programs that support healthy and independent living for older adults.

This survey is open for only two weeks. The deadline to submit your input is Aug. 26, 2024. It is available online in both English and Spanish. You can use the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the survey to switch to the Spanish version.

Notes from HHSC

Respondents can leave the survey and finish later if they return on the same internet browser and same computer. If taking this option, do not clear browser history (also known as cookies) once the survey has been started.

The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. If you have any technical questions regarding the survey, please feel free to contact Stephanie.Taylor@hhs.texas.gov.

If you have any questions regarding the survey questions, please contact: HHSCCommunityServicesCommunications@hhs.texas.gov.
