TILT Performance Group — Capacity Building Mini-Grant

Project Summary
TILT Performance Group, a nonprofit theater company for performers with disabilities, staged a production called “PAN! A TILTed Peter Pan.” Performers examined themes of societal infantilization, mobility diversity, and ways in which people with disabilities soar to the same heights as people without disabilities. The TILT organization provided performers with disabilities paid opportunities to create and perform in professional theater while giving audiences the opportunity to enhance their understanding of accessibility and inclusive practices.

Through Capacity Building Mini-Grants for Self-Advocacy Groups, TCDD supports local self-advocacy groups in building their organizational capacity to become more established in their communities, create partnerships, and conduct formal activities. As a result of project activities, organizations expand their role and impact.
