The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) is excited to welcome Demi Tomasides as a public policy intern through August 2021. Tomasides will be heavily involved in TCDD’s public policy activities during the 87th Texas Legislature. During her internship, Tomasides will research policy issues, compile information for the TCDD Bill of the Week and Texas Legislative News updates, and draft public comments on legislation.
Tomasides is a junior at Southwestern University and is pursuing a major in communication studies and a minor in Spanish. Recently, she completed an internship at the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence in Washington, D.C, where she had the unique opportunity to listen and respond to the American public. Tomasides is originally from Dallas, Texas. Her internship started in January 25, 2021.
