You can provide feedback to improve vocational rehabilitation (VR) services at a regional town hall meeting or via email.
In July, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) will seek feedback from people with disabilities and other stakeholders about VR services. TWC will use the feedback you provide to improve VR services and the employment-related needs of people with disabilities. You can provide your feedback to TWC either during a regional town hall meeting or via email. Whether you plan to participate in a town hall meeting or submit an email, TWC developed a list of questions to guide your feedback in their CSNA Town Hall Meetings — Information Sheet (PDF no longer available).
TWC will conduct the following town hall meetings:
- McAllen — July 11
- San Antonio — July 12
- Houston — July 13
- El Paso — July 18
- Dallas — July 19
Each town hall meeting will include two sessions so you have a better chance to participate. The first session will be 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and the second session will be 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. For more information, check out the complete CSNA Town Hall — Meeting Schedule (PDF is no longer available) on TWC’s website.
TWC will have Communication Access Real-time Captioning (CART) services and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters at each town hall meeting. If you require additional accommodations to participate, contact the Rehabilitation Council of Texas at 512-936-3445 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your request for accommodations should be made five business days before the town hall date.
If you cannot participate in a town hall meeting, provide your feedback via email. You can use the CSNA Town Hall — Information Sheet TWC developed to guide your feedback. You must submit your feedback by Thursday, July 20.
