Texas Legislative Session​s

Through engagement with the public, the legislature, and agency officials, TCDD works to represent and improve the lives of people with disabilities.

Every two years, the Texas Legislature convenes for a 140-day regular legislative session. The Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) monitors legislative activities that could impact disability-related programs and services.
