Statewide Survey

TCDD Listens Banner Hero

To gather feedback from people across the state, the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD) is conducting a statewide survey. We want to learn what it’s like for self-advocates – people with developmental disabilities (DD) – and family members to access services and supports in Texas. Responses to the survey, which is part of the TCDD Listens campaign, will help us identify which needs are being met and which ones aren’t in the current system of services and supports.

The survey is available in two versions. One version is for self-advocates. A different version of the survey is for family members of people with DD.

Survey of Adult Self-Advocates

If you are a self-advocate, you are encouraged to take this survey and share your perspective and experience. The survey covers topics that impact the daily lives of self-advocates in Texas. Topics covered include education, work, seeing friends, going to the doctor, and getting around town.

Family members and friends are welcome to help a self-advocate complete the survey. Also, the survey is anonymous, and individual responses will not be shared publicly.

The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020. If you need help completing the survey or need the survey in an alternate format, please contact Evan Marczynski at evan.marczynski@tcdd.texas.gov or 512-437-5442.
