During the first week of the session, the House and Senate approved rules on legislative procedure, public testimony, and COVID-19 testing for lawmakers and visitors to the Capitol building.

This week, we kick off our legislative updates with a preview of the first days of the session and provide information on our upcoming Disability Policy Academy.

The Texas Legislature begins on Jan. 12, 2021. TCDD will provide weekly updates on legislative news and bills that relate to disability issues.
